Who We Are

The PFA Way

The PFA Way

We work best with clients who value structure, transparency, and long-term strategy over speculation or short-term reaction.

How Our Process Works

We are fee-based financial planners who proudly act as fiduciaries. That means we are legally obligated to put our clients’ interests first when providing advice.

Our professional emphasis includes:

  • Portfolio management
  • Retirement income planning
  • Retirement plan design for businesses

We collaborate with independent investment researchers, tax professionals, and attorneys when appropriate to ensure your strategy is comprehensive and coordinated.

Communication & Ongoing Reviews

We believe strongly in consistent communication.

  • Every qualified client meets with us at least once per year.
  • More complex situations may require up to four meetings annually.
  • Clients have 24/7 online access to investment accounts and financial plans.
  • Our technology supports timely monitoring and communication.

What We Charge

We believe pricing transparency builds trust. Fees and services are described in the client agreement and Form ADV.

Certain representatives may also be licensed to offer insurance products through affiliated or separate entities. Insurance products may involve commissions. When acting as an investment adviser, Professional Financial Advisors provides advice under a fiduciary obligation.

Fee-Only Financial Planning

Below we outline the advisory fee structures you’ll generally find when searching for a fee-only financial planner. It’s important to determine the advisory fee structure that is best for you and your unique situation. When talking to prospective financial planners, you should always inquire about the total fee structure.

Assets Under Management (AUM) - Ongoing Investment Management

For clients who want us to implement retirement plans, manage investments, and provide ongoing advice, we charge a percentage of assets under management, known as the Assets Under Management (AUM) fee structure.

As a general industry standard, it is common for a fee-only financial planner to charge approximately 1% of the total amount of assets managed per year. For example, if you have $2 million in assets managed, your annual advisory fee would be $20,000. PFA uses an AUM fee structure which is tiered, meaning you’ll pay smaller percentages as you invest more total asset value.

Our goal is to maintain a healthy balance between affordability for the client and sustainability for our firm — ensuring long-term value on both sides.

Flat-Rate Financial Plan - One-Time Investment Planning

In an AUM fee structure, the financial planner assumes the client will need ongoing support with the planning and/or execution of their financial plan. However, for customers who wish to receive one-time financial plan development, it is possible to pay a one-time fee.

In a flat-rate structure, the planner collects the fee but is not typically involved in moving forward with any implementation of the plan. Fees can range from $250 to $10,000 for a complete financial plan.

We May Not Be the Right Fit If:

  • You are looking for speculative or short-term trading strategies
  • You prefer transactional advice instead of ongoing planning
  • You do not value structured financial processes

We are best suited for individuals and business owners who want disciplined, coordinated financial guidance.
